Brian Moser, also known as The Ice Truck Killer, is a central character in the Showtime series "Dexter". He is introduced as the first main antagonist of the series and plays a significant role in the show's early seasons. Brian is the estranged brother of Dexter Morgan, the series' protagonist, though this fact remains hidden for much of the first season.
Living under the alias of Rudy Cooper, Brian begins a gruesome killing spree in Miami, targeting prostitutes. His method of murder is distinct—he dismembers his victims and drains their bodies of blood, leaving behind eerily clean crime scenes. His kills, which come to be known as the "Ice Truck" murders, quickly capture the attention of the police, who struggle to connect the dots. Meanwhile, Dexter Morgan, who works as a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police, becomes deeply involved in the investigation, unaware that the killer is his own brother.
